Who We Are

Play area with dragonfly sculpture - Okinja Early Learning

At Okinja Early Learning, we believe in providing a warm, loving environment where children grow into strong and successful young people.

Our beautiful handcrafted timber dragonfly located in the children’s playground represents change, transition and adaptability, and we have incorporated this into our logo to reflect the nature of what we do. The first five years of a child’s life are a special time where change and growth occur more rapidly than at any other age! At Okinja, we provide a loving and supportive place where children can learn, grow and transition into confident young people.

I commenced working in children’s services almost 20 years ago where I began by supporting a child with additional needs. I have worked in all job roles in the early childhood sector and have found my passion as Centre Manager. I enjoy going to the Centre each day where I have the opportunity to mentor our amazing educators, support our beautiful children in their everyday development and form genuine relationships with our families and the Alexandra Headland community.

Our team works together to ensure we provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our families.  Our combined passion is working alongside our families to ensure all children are given the opportunity to be the best they can be with a range of different experiences.
